If you do not provide personal data to Zafu Ltd, may not be able to deliver the requested goods and services.

Data collected online

Email addresses - When you contact Zafu, the email information is kept to reply and increase the efficiency of the business The email account is password protected .

Facebook page - Comments or likes on the Zafu Facebook page are in the public domain and we are not responsible for any third party use of this data. 

Information collected through automated systems when you visit the website www.zafu.org.uk

Cookies – Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer’s hard drive by your web browser when you visit any website.  They make the site easier to use and track the traffic patterns of visitors.  Some cookies may last for a defined period of time, such as one day or until you close your browser.  Others last indefinitely.

Personal identifiers from your browsing activity – requests by your web browser for web pages and other content on my website may be recorded as a matter of course by Google Analytics.  This information can be used to assess the performance of pages on my website.  It may include your geographical information, your Internet Service Provider, and your IP address as well as the software you are using to browse the website to give information about the type of device you are using. 

Data collected offline

Health forms for Zafu yoga sessions –  contact details, date of birth, and health details.  This information is used to manage class details and safely teach yoga.

Class registers – Records are kept of who attends each session.  The registers form part of the record required for Companies House.  Current registers are borough to each class, historic registers are stored in a locked cabinet.

Length of time data is held – Zafu is required by Companies House and the insurance company to retains records for a period of 7 years after clients stop attending classes.  After this time the forms are shredded.

Updating information held – People update their health information as needed..

Phone numbers - Are kept on the original registration form. 

Sharing of data - Zafu Ltd does  not share any client data with other people or organisations

We  may also use this information to tailor our services to site visitors and advertising.
